MEMORANDUM
POLITICAL PARTIES, ELECTIONS AND REFERENDUMS ACT 2000
The Prime Minister has appointed to the committee known as the Speaker’s Committee on the Electoral Commission, established by section 2(1) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000, Alison McGovern to serve on the committee pursuant to section 2(3) of the Act, and Samantha Dixon to carry out concurrently the functions of the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government on the committee pursuant to section 2(2A)(b) of the Act.
