During the Recess, amendments should be submitted to [email protected]. Amendments can be accepted from a Member’s Parliamentary network account, or from the network account of a member of staff who has been specifically authorise to act on the Member’s behalf.
In order to be eligible for selection, amendments must be tabled by the following deadlines:
Employment Rights Bill – Public Bill Committee meeting on Tuesday 7 January – amendments should be tabled by the rise of the House on Thursday 19 December (today).
Tobacco and Vapes Bill – Public Bill Committee meeting on Thursday 9 January – amendments should be tabled by the rise of the House on Monday 6 January.
Water (Special Measures) Bill – Public Bill Committee meeting on Thursday 9 January – amendments should be tabled by the rise of the House on Monday 6 January.
Please submit any amendments for tabling, or requests for drafting assistance, as soon as possible.

(1) any expenditure incurred under or by virtue of the Act by the Secretary of State or by a government department, and
(2) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable under or by virtue of any other Act out of money so provided.
