Conference Adjournment - Tabling of Amendments to Public Bills
During the Recess, amendments should be submitted by email to [email protected]. Amendments can be accepted from a Member’s Parliamentary network account, or from the network account of a member of staff who has been specifically authorised to act on the Member’s behalf.
There is no formal deadline for amendments to or in lieu of the Lords Amendments to the Levelling-up and Regeneration Bill, which will be considered on Tuesday 17 October, or motions or amendments to motions relating to the Lords Message on the Energy Bill [Lords], which will be considered on Wednesday 18 October, but Members are encouraged to give notice of any such motions or amendments as soon as possible. Any tabled by 4.30 pm on Friday 13 October will be available on the relevant bill pages of the Parliamentary website from the morning of Saturday 14 October, along with any amendments tabled to any other Bill currently before the House.
